  • For this synthesis our main scope was to show respect to the Bagricultural landscape and design a residence that would blend with it's natural environment. The views of the Aegean Sea were maintained unbroken creating an uninterrupted sense of living on the beach. The "natural ground" was extended to the design; the stone used for construction was taken from the site's excavation. Large stonewalls created a physical cooling of all rooms and terraces and endemic tree species were planted at strategical positions. The surrounding landscape was successfully revitalized.
