  • While an Associate and Senior Designer at The Freelon Group, provided design leadership and team coordination during the 8 week invited international design competition. Responsibilities included building program development and overall Master Facilities Program alignment, concept development and diagramming, final board layout and graphics.

    In April 2009, the Freelon Adjaye Bond SmithGroup team was selected by the Smithsonian Institution to
    build the new museum, chosen over five other teams including Norman Foster and Diller, Scofidio & Renfro.
