Description
'Motormorphosis' is a reaction to the rising costs of petrol and the increasing need for affordable housing. With an increasing number of cars being scrapped and the government’s car scrappage scheme there is a large number of cars waiting to be legally scrapped.
The factory takes cars waiting to be scrapped and re-cycles the vehicles into new materials, the new materials taken from the cars are then used to building dwellings. People come to the factory for an extended period of time learn and build a dwelling. Once the dwelling has been completed it gets transported to a community within the city.
