Description
GABRIEL SHALOM
Gabriel Shalom is an audiovisual artist. He is the creator of the hypercubist manifesto. His signature work takes the form of rhythmically edited audiovisual compositions (videomusic). He is also the creative director of KS12, a creative studio founded together with Patrizia Kommerell based in Berlin. KS12 works with various experimental video formats, including video essays and design fiction. KS12 has developed a collaborative video production process called a video sprint which has its conceptual roots in iterative prototyping and scrum software development.
At resonate Gabriel will be presenting two videos; The Future of Art, produced and premiered at Transmediale 2011; and Timeless, commissioned by MU Eindhoven during the STRP Festival 2011. Timeless recently premiered at the opening of Gabriel's solo video art exhibition The Tosso Variations.
