    7.2009 [group project] Cheticamp, Cape Breton




    This project is an ongoing endeavour that will eventually be permanently installed in Ross Creek, Nova Scotia. A parcel of the structure was displayed as part of the Nocturne:art at night exhibition in Halifax. It first started in July as an experiment during the free labworkshop. It has since grown into a substantial undertaking, with the final structure to be 70feet long with a 17 foot span.

    The process of designing this structure has involved a lot of experimenting and trying to understand the system and connections. The project is still in progress and will likely evolve further.

  • The final installation of the Lamella structure in Ross Creek.  The Lamella shell is used as an outdoor dining hall during the summer months.
