With outstanding views of the Glasshouse Mountains on one side, and out over the ocean on the other, this site on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast hosts an impressive new home by Soul Space that uses the steep landscape to full advantage, exploiting every possible view.

The house has been designed to make a distinctive sculptural statement from the street, with a striking façade alluding to an impressive interior. Though the home is stretched along the streetscape – so as to make maximum use of the rear views – careful window placement and aluminium slat screens ensure that privacy is maintained, while still allowing an abundance of natural light to flood in. The stepped roofs above break down the façade into smaller components.
