The breathing tower integrates highly differentiated structure and skin systems with a navigational interior to challenge the traditional skyscraper. Tower design parametrically controls openings in skin as a mechanism for ventilation and mitigating solar heat gain. Connection of larger openings manifest as funnels that constitute a new concrete semi-monocoque structural system, allowing a free interior space.
