Description
Form___the volumetric body which represents the massivity, the heavy and the materiality of the ground, starts to respond to the vibration of the new interact space.
The two types of the material density come in contact... the heaviest and static one begins to loose its consistency because of the particles that are continous in motion..the stillest particles starts moving and changing their position in space,too.
The compact volumes has two hypostases(states):
The terrestrial state, which every object has.the volume extract from this state his phisycal form.
This first evolution step offer its concrete body.
The second state of building belongs to the extra terrestrial plan which works and makes the volume to come untied.his vaporous consistence breaks the massivity of the body.
The break of the volumetric body is perceived in simultaneous with the detaching of the passengers from the ground level. In a symbolic way, all the materiality is lost alongside with the vertical direction.
The two main plans come in conflict and begin to change their form in their interaction.
The tension of this form comes from the collision of the different materials(air and ground) and from a man condition (earthly and celestial).
Function___the form is put into rhyme with the function. Excepting the fact that the airport contain practical functions, it is an unusual space because behind his skin it includes a different world. A new world, a hybrid made of various worlds, a space where none of world’s rules is applied.The airport is, in fact, a limit, a custom between countries, positioned in a exceptional site, in a city context.It is a neutral space, more than a simple gate or a passing zone.
An airport congregate a lot of worlds through the people who circulate and cross this space and throw their different cultures.
